I still draw sometimes, really

Not for months, but hey! Figured I'd get off my ass and start doodling again, maybe make a "contribution" to the blog. Still check it off-and-on and keep being inspired by the stuff you folks post.

So, sorry to bring the overall quality down!

Some quicky character sketches for (nerdnerdnerd) Pathfinder game I'm in that Jeff runs:

That's Pinder, a halfling Rogue.

And that's Tamblyn, a dwarven Cleric.

Hopefully noodling with these will warm me up to do some more finished stuff.

More SEER sketches!

Clueless Carpenters!

Hey guys, here's a sketch I did out of boredom while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse... yeah, I'm cool. I decided to ink it with a prismacolor premier .08 pen I found at work, I usually use sharpie pens in my sketchbook, but I was really impressed with this one, it didnt' bleed at all, and I think they're only like 2 bucks a pop since they're the prismacolor version of microns. It took me a while to come up with the title, I was thinking Carin' Carpenter for a while, because it sounds like Karen Carpenter, but then I realized I'm not 100 percent sure who that is... just that it's a name I've heard before. It was Careless Carpenters, but I changed it to Clueless as I inked it, not sure why, I think I like the way Careless sounds better, but either way, I'm happy with it.

lighthouse ideas

some quick lighthouse hangout sketches for Jeff, let me know what you think jeff, there's not much there to go on. Let me know if there's anything in the right or wrong direction

More sketches

Here's another Star Wars sketch, done the day after the Darth Vader one, it's Chewbacca being detained by some storm troopers, but not before decking one of them. Jason wanted me to draw Luke, so I just told him the guy in the back was luke in disguise, that's why theres an arrow over his head.

And another alien from a galaxy far far away! This time in the form of a campy record that I wish existed!

Darth Vader Sketch

Did this one yesterday while watching tv and drawing with Jason, It took a few hours and a few sharpies, not to mention wrecked the page underneath it ( shoulda put something down )

Sketchbook stuff

Hey again! 2 posts in one day! Here's some sketches out of my new sketchbook, started at the very end of last year, you guys should post up some of your sketchbook stuff just to show me you're still kickin!

This first one is Jason, drawing a large train poster at my new art desk, ( a pretty swank birthday present I might add ) I was sitting behind him while he was drawing it, so I sketched him while he worked, then cleaned it up a bit later.

This next one is from the same day, he wanted me to draw the polar express, and handed me his lionel train to draw from, then complained that I took around an hour to draw it, when he could have done it in under a minute, so he drew one too, and I turned it into a little joke thing, since that's what I do.

This last one is a drawing I did while watching tv. Jason spills things, breaks things, and hurts himself on a regular basis, all seconds after promising to NOT spill things, break things, or hurt himself. OH, and Eric got him this crazy awesome lightsaber for Christmas, so, with those 2 notions combined, I did a sketch of Jason being careful, I like to imagine that if we left him alone, this is what it'd be like. I know that, because when we DON'T leave him alone, this IS what it's like!

That's it for now, noone wants to see my storage wars sketches, or caricatures of the face closeups on I Survived... hope everyone's doing well, and will post a few sketches themselves soon!

BAM!

Hey, a superman drawing! It's about time!

Hey guys, Brad here,

I did this on time for the Superman challenge, then made photocopies and our computers motherboard exploded or something, and now we have a new one, which actually lets me post on here! pretty neat huh?! Well, anyway, in the meantime I lost the photocopies, typical, and scanned this and put it together out of 4 pieces, that's why it's a bit jumbled. Hope you dig it!

BAM!
